The Ceramic Stone is a versatile piece of cookware, when preheated it conducts enough heat for baking pizzas, breads & desserts. The stone retains and distributes the heat for even baking / browning, the ceramics pulls moisture from the outer surface of the dough giving it that brick oven crustiness. 

Use in combination with the Versatile Elevator Rack which lifts the Pizza Stone to level with the top of the kamado's base. It allows you to use your Half Moon Deflector plates under your Pizza Stone to double the thickness or on separate levels will create an air cushion which prevents hot spots. This will provide the best results.
